Our work is grounded in an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy. This means we draw from several evidence-based modalities and tailor sessions to your unique experiences, goals, and pace. Our practice is primarily informed by approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. All of these focus on helping people understand their emotions, reconnect with their values, and shift patterns that no longer serve them. These approaches help clients build psychological flexibility, process difficult emotions, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
We also work from a feminist, anti-oppressive, and anti-colonial lens, recognizing that mental health does not exist in isolation from systems, culture, identity, and lived experience. Therapy is not about “fixing” you; it’s about creating space to explore your story, understand the patterns that shaped you, and build new ways of relating to yourself and others. Our goal is to support healing that feels empowering, culturally aware, and aligned with your values.
